Alistair Overeem vs Brock Lesnar at UFC 141 stellar
He held a press conference for UFC 141 with the protagonists of the main event Brock Lesnar and Alistair Overeem.
Overeem said that since joining the UFC offered him the full title shot, but instead would have to wait and follow it implied more months out of the Octagon, plus that already had been absent through injury, so when he presented the option to fight Brock Lesnar immediately accepted. "I'm training at Extreme Couture and I'm happy for now in the U.S.," said Overeem, and when asked about his opponent just said: "I will destroy this guy, piece by piece."
Meanwhile Brock Lesnar who is also an injury said: "I avoided the surgery as I could, it's hard, is very great, but I'm back and I feel good!" And on his rival Alistair Overeem said: "Overeem is a great fighter, it is an honor to fight him in the Octagon to break his ass."
His comments of course generated much interest in all present, who supported their favorite. President Dana White was asked about the fact that UFC 141 will be on this occasion on Friday, and said, "People know it's on a Friday, Saturday is crazy in Vegas, nothing will happen, is the ideal date."
