Interesting news coming from the hand of one of the most exciting television platforms of the moment and one of the most multi-billion dollar franchise history. With the purchase of Lucasfilms by Disney had serious doubts about the continuity of ' Star Wars: the Clone Wars 'series that followed the adventures of Anakin and company during the Clone Wars (located between Episodes II and III of the movies) , especially after learning of its cancellation by Cartoon Network after five seasons on the air.
So Disney and Netflix just announced that we will see the sixth and final season of 'The Clone Wars' on-demand video platform. The final thirteen episodes will be available from March 7 under the title ' The Clone Wars: The Lost Missions 'and dedicated to closing the stories through a plot that will unbalance the course of the war. Accompanying this unprecedented season available to Netflix users the other five seasons, with the director's cut of some episodes and the animated film.
Personally I was a bit surprised because the news was assumed that, finally issuing these final episodes, Disney would endorse any of its television channels. Especially considering that Disney XD will be responsible for issuing ' Star Wars Rebels 'animated series that revolves around the rebel alliance formed between' Revenge of the Sith 'and' A New Hope 'and that will premiere next fall. In any case it is great news that Disney continue betting on Netflix and undoubtedly will be a good test for Marvel landing next year.
